Vector Etch

Vector Etch, a laser cutting specialist, has afforded me a valuable learning experience in manufacturing and creative services. My role at Vector has evolved from operating the lasers and customer service to a position of decision-making based on my Industrial Design knowledge.

While maintaining daily operations, my role includes improving operational processes by implementing custom-built services to help manage quoting, orders and shipping functions. Using human-centred design methodologies, I have successfully improved efficiency and human–technology interactions in crucial business areas with web technologies hand built with JavaScript, Ruby on Rails and self-hosted services.
